Manchester United are on the verge of sealing the deal for prolific Germany forward Lea Schüller in a permanent move from the Frauen-Bundesliga champions.
A Major Signing for United
The forward, with six months remaining on her contract, has been a consistent goal-getter for both club and country. She has netted over 100 goals for Bayern and scored 54 times in 82 caps for her country. This signing will be seen as a major signing for the WSL team.
Her exit from Munich has been anticipated after she appeared to be holding back emotions while applauding the club's fans following a win over Bayer Leverkusen recently.
It was reported in late December that the German women's top flight was losing one of its top strikers. Per multiple sources, the formalities for the transfer have now been completed.

The 28-year-old’s signing is expected to provide a significant boost to United’s attacking options. She has been highly reliable in front of goal in the Bundesliga.
