Mohamed Salah Issues Statement to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad following the fallout from his public comments.
What Happened
The striker was dropped from a vital match after making accusations and stating his relationship with manager had soured.
âSalah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,â Jones told Sky Sports. âHe said sorry to the group and was like: âShould anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.ââ
Arne Slot has chosen not to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.
Moving Forward
He emphasized that the team's response was unchanged. âHe was his usual self, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,â the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also suggested that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. âI get that there are certain ways you can go about things,â he said. âBut if a ladâs fine to just be on the bench, then I think thatâs concerning.â
